This 9-week, virtual wellness support group is offered several times during the year. Some sessions are for specific age groups. We are working to ensure that sessions are offered on a variety of days and times so that you can find a session that works for you.
Each wellness support group is open to people struggling with mental health who live in Ontario.
Peer support is a non-judgmental, safe and supportive relationship between people who have lived experience in common in order to provide emotional and social support.
Over 9-weeks, participants will connect and foster tools to support them in their mental health journey. They will learn from each other and develop strategies and skills to cope with overwhelming situations. Each weekly session will last up to two hours.
Topics that will be covered include: wellness, goals, stress, resilience, supports, self-talk, gratitude and crisis planning.
The Spring 2022 Wellness Support Program for ages 18-35 begins on Thursday, May 5 and concludes on Thursday, July 7. Meetings run from 7 p.m. EST until 9 p.m. EST weekly.
There will not be a meeting held on Thursday, June 23.
The Spring 2022 Wellness Support Program for ages 18+ begins on Sunday, May 15 and concludes on Sunday, July 24. Meetings run from 2 p.m. EST until 4 p.m. EST weekly.
Meetings will not be held on June 12 or June 19.
