Alex Shendelman
Alex Shendelman is the Program Manager in the Survivor Support Program, part of the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto. His focus since 2003, first as a volunteer and then as a Program Manager has been to help create a community of support for survivors of suicide and homicide loss.
The program provides individual and group supports after a suicide or homicide loss.
Alex has provided a number of local and national workshops on suicide loss and traumatic loss.
Alex came to this work after the suicide loss of his sister.
